I am a young 52 year man who is adventurous and spontaneous. I push myself hard and am very determined but I do enjoy down time too. I grew up in the small town of denver, CO . There I learned to hike, camp, backpack, snow and water ski, and ride horses. I am currently road cycling about 15 miles, beginning to learn kayaking. I enjoy camping and hiking. I am slow but I get where I am going on time.. I am doing short, 8-10 mile backpacking trips. I want to get myself in better shape so I can go back into the mountains I love and enjoy. I also own a cutting horse who is my true joy. All of these activities I began in January 2011. As a result I have lost 54 lbs and continuing to lose and becoming more fit and toned. Like about any kind of Music except Rap. Country would probably be my least favorite but can handle some of it. Like Jazz, light rock, oldies. I like crime shows and Drama shows..
I enjoy nice dinners at restaurants, movies, plays/opera, music of all kinds, concerts, baseball games (my favorite is Spring Training in AZ) and museums. What gives me my greatest joy is sharing my time to help other. I have 3 grown successful ,college educated children and 7 grand children. My family is of the utmost importance to me. And I love spending time with them as often as possible and especially the holidays.

I worked for St Agnes Hospital during college, I managed an internal medicine practice and I worked in management for a public utility agency. I was a whistle blower and was forced to retired 12 yrs ago.

Laughter keeps us young and I laugh most at my daughters and grandchildren. They come up with some pretty funny stuff. I love every minute of life as it is fleeting. I also like to learn. I love to learn something new everyday. I am the oldest of 3. One brother is in the medical field and the other committed suicide at 18 yrs old.
