I have cooked for and catered dinner parties for over 300 people. My father was a church Pastor resulting in all of my family have a strong musical background as we gave city wide gospel music concerts in our years. I am a professional drummer, latin percussionist and background vocalist. This blessed gift has allowed me to perform in hundreds of live concerts, and record in music studios with major celebrities including: Kenny Loggins, El Debarge, Melissa Manchester, Andrae Crouch and even worked with Andrae Crouch with Michael Jackson on his Dangerous Album in 1991.
Yet in I learned long ago....We all put on our pants the same way....one leg at a time!! I love to travel and have nationwide and several other countries as a result of my musical gift. Love shopping, going to movies, and live concerts, and some clubs. I do drink, but only socially. Love cooking that special meal for that special woman.
I am also a victim and former evacuee from Hurricane Katrina!!! I was living in New Orleans, LA at the time of the storm and was in EVERYTHING that happened as I had 4-6ft. of water in my house front to back. I lost everything including my F150 truck in that storm. I evacuated back to Los Angeles and despite Fema/Red Cross paying me 10 months later...I have struggled since that time to really get back on foot.
I just long to be with a woman who will recognize me for the God given talents I have and blend her gifts and support with me as we accomplish great things in life for each other, our families, and those less fortunate. I am a strong and very confident man full of understanding three major words: Vision.....Purpose....Destiny...
I am not at all intimidated by a strong woman and due to my travels and exposure thru my family and celebrities I have been with, recorded with, ate with and even lived with....I'm not strange to lucrative money, the things it buys or the people or settings they thrive in.
My family was prominent in church circles due to my father's life call, which placed me all of my life amongst great men and women who continue to be great mentors for me. I'm sure I have written too much, but the most important thing I want to say is Money IS NOT the most important thing....but to have strong characteristics of being trustworthy, honest, sincere, full of commitment, ability to have complete fidelity, and consistent open communication and strong conflict resolve skills are mandatory for a successful relationship.....Rich or Broke!!!
Money is a means to a end, but will never be my God...I have had large amounts of money in my life, but staying rooted and grounded in strong principals have allowed me to enjoy what it brings, but never serve it!!....I pray whoever reads this and contacts me to meet will be a person who will enjoy all I have to offer with/without money.
I have learned to cherish the person inside of that special woman causing greater relationship, fun, understanding, love, and joy as enjoy the finer things in life in travel, homes, clothes, and people.
